Scotland - Non Payment of Annual Licence Fees - Reminder

05 Nov
2014

Under the Licensing Fees (Scotland) Regulations 2007, payment of the annual Premises Licence fee is due on 1st October each year.

Payment of that fee is a mandatory condition on all Premises Licences.

We have seen press reports which suggest that a significant number of licensed premises have failed to pay their fee by the October 1st deadline with a likely result that Premises Licence Review Application will be made.

If you are in any doubt as to whether or not you have paid your fee, you should check and although it may not avoid a Premises Licence Review, make any outstanding payment immediately.
